Sixth graders at School #8 in Oceanside raised money through two walkathons for the Tubarere School in Rwamagana, Rwanda, never imagining that one day they would meet their far away peers.  

On Friday, January 23, the two schools met face-to-face for the first time in a videoconference.

Oceanside High School has for the third consecutive year been named to the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll, earning an overall Silver designation. This reflects the school year ending in June of 2025.

More than 100 parents attended the January Parent University Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how to guide their children with this new technology. 

Oceanside High School’s Counseling and English departments hosted the annual Senior Interview Day on Friday, September 19. The event prepares high school seniors for job and/or college interviews, complete with creating resumes, prepping for and participating in the interviews, and following up with a letter of thanks.
